Swedish Arboga beer arrives in Finnish stores.
For centuries, the name Arboga has been associated in Sweden with traditional beer. The city’s brewing heritage dates back to the Middle Ages — as early as 1365, a beer was mentioned that was so tasty it gave rise to the saying: “Det kommer efter som Arboga öl” – “It follows along like Arboga beer.”
The respected Swedish beer brand Arboga is now being launched on the Finnish market, filling the gap for a Swedish premium lager. Two different beers will be introduced in Finnish stores: Arboga Originalet 5.6% and Arboga Starkt 7.3%.
Arboga Originalet 5.6% is a Swedish Dortmunder-style lager with roots reaching back to the previous century. Its character is built on a balance of pale pilsner malt, depth-giving Munich malt, and caramel malt.
Arboga Starkt 7.3% is brewed in the traditional bock style. The beer’s smooth maltiness and subtle sweetness make it an excellent choice both as a social drink and as a companion to food.
